"My initial reason for trying acupuncture was to avoid surgery. I had pain in my left foot, left hip, and back. Acupuncture has been an educational experience for me. I'm learning to listen to my body and give it periods of rest throughout the day. I'm being kinder to myself. I am now walking/running 4 miles per day with no pain in my foot, hip, or back. The side benefits have been increased energy levels, full nights of sleep and the ability to fall back to sleep during the night with out medication. I have also had an acceptance of myself and allow myself to have limits and to set limits."
