I treat acute and chronic conditions, and I can create both internal and external herbal preparations. My specialties include gynecology, sports medicine, and the treatment of acute and chronic pain. Herbal medicine and acupuncture are used just as readily for bodily concerns as they are for mental, emotional, and spiritual aspirations.
Since the age of eighteen I have been an herbalist in some form or fashion, as well as an equestrienne, cowgirl, riding instructor, world traveler, community organizer, and felony court reporter. Chinese medicine, however, is my passion. I derive great pleasure from designing customized herbal formulas for my patients, creating unique herbal blends to support each person’s body, mind, and spirit. In the acupuncture clinic, I also have the great honor of fashioning traditional treatments to alleviate suffering and help people step forth into their full potential. Acupuncture and herbal medicine are both integral parts of Chinese medicine, along with dietary therapy, bodywork, and self-cultivation practices.
One of the profound gifts of this medicine is that it offers thousands of years of Chinese medical wisdom to inform my practice. The cannon of traditional acupuncture and plant medicine is just as clinically relevant today as it was in ancient times. When I listen carefully enough, I can hear the wisdom of the ancestors whispering in my ears as I help bring forth this lineage into the modern world, with humility and awe. I am here to be of service to you.
